Considering the power of her workouts, the 30-year-old model will need a healthy and satisfying snack and keep her energy up following a long, grueling workout, and then she might’ve found an ideal solution: almond butter and apple slices.
Graham shared her go-to post-workout snack on her Instagram story where she posted a photograph of a few apple slices and also a pack of Justin’s Classic Almond Butter choosing her lap for a car ride home on the Dogpound, her gym in New york.
Of course, almond butter and apple slices aren’t one of the most innovative snack in existence, really clean grounds Graham sticks into the oldie-but-goodie. As SELF reports, almond butter and apple slices are jam-packed with necessary carbohydrates and proteins following a workout. Carbohydrates replenish glycogen (a.k.a. the fuel you burn when you find yourself working out), while protein plays an important role in repairing and strengthening muscles you tear in intensive weight training exercise.
Plus, as a result of on-the-go time of Graham’s, she doesn’t need a chance to whisk something extravagant to down following a workout. So an effective pack of almond butter as well as some pre-sliced apple slices will likely need to do just as well.
